The Children’s Heart Foundation – Florida Chapter’s mission is to support the mission of it’s National organization. The Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF) funds the most promising research to advance the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of congenital heart defects (CHDs).

The Children's Heart Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization, is the only National non-profit organization that exclusively funds research of congenital heart defects, the most prevalent and deadly birth defect worldwide. CHF is not affiliated with any one medical institution or organization. This allows funds to be directed to the most promising research anywhere in the world, under the direction of our National Medical Advisory Board

Kalani has survived an open heart surgery repairing a
VSD, ASD, PDA and Coarctation of the Aorta.
She still suffers from a Bicuspid Aortic Valve
and Mitral Valve Regurgitation which will need
to be repaired in the years to come.
